About me: I’m Jeremy Iggers, a retired food critic from Minneapolis, Minnesota with a passion for food and travel. I’ve visited Iran five times in the past seven years, and have had some of the most memorable travel experiences of my life. I’m not an Iran scholar, but I am an avid student of Iranian history and culture, and I’m learning to speak Persian. I started organizing tours to Iran in 2019, working with a travel agency in Shiraz, and have led two tours so far. My tour schedule has been interrupted since then by the pandemic, and by the political situation in Iran, but I am eager to return, and my Iranian friends tell me they are eager to have foreign visitors.
