If you are on Facebook, one useful resource is a closed Facebook group called See You In Iran, https://www.facebook.com/groups/1483860975268043/ which has 140,000+ members, Iranian and Westerners. In order to see the content, you have to apply to be a member (easy), but there are fresh posts every day by people who are thinking about going, and asking for advice, or who just got back and want to report on their experiences.
